This program uses the original algorithm for John Conway's artificial life simulator: if an empty lifebit has exactly 3 neighbors then it is "born" and if a lifebit has more than 3 or less than 2 neighbors then it dies. The playing field is very large and it supports editing both in and out of the simulation (I.E. One can "paint" lifebits onto the screen with the cursor). byte count: (133,541) |
